چکیده
The construction industry plays a fundamental role in the economy of developing country, representing, most them, approximately 3.7% to 10.5% its Gross Domestic Product. However, it is extremely important search for sustainable alternatives this sector, aiming reduce environmental impacts generated by production inputs, waste generation, addition inappropriate disposal activity environment. Therefore, work aimed evaluate technical and economic feasibility incorporation residues (Marble Granite Cutting Waste—MW Construction Demolition Waste—CDW) soil cement bricks (SCB). For development present work, physical mechanical characterization soil, (CDW MW), composites (Control, MW15%, MW25%, MW50%, MW100%, MW30%CDW70%) were performed. After manufacturing bricks, characterizations mentioned carried out at 7, 28 60 days, evaluation geometric characteristics, water absorption strength microscopic analysis post-rupture fragments. Additionally, cost use SCB was performed compared two different systems (ceramic brick concrete block). From results characterization, classified as clayey-silty sand (SC-SM), while CDW well-graded MW sandy clay. Soil composite plasticity characteristics ranged from weakly plastic (MW15% highly (MW100%). In compaction tests, with presented increasing values terms optimal moisture. compressive test showed satisfactory all composites, especially which obtained significant result 13.777 kPa days. Thus, concluded that represents application civil construction.

15 صفحه اولBehaviour of Masonry Wall Constructed using Interlocking Soil Cement Bricks
According to the masonry standard the compressive strength is basically dependent on factors such as the mortar strength and the relative values of unit and mortar strength. However interlocking brick has none or less use of mortar. Therefore there is a need to investigate the behavior of masonry walls using interlocking bricks. In this study a series of tests have been conducted; physical prop...
